Original Objective

With 10 dearly loved pastoral leaders, the New Covenant congregation wanted to honor each significant individual during their annual Pastor Appreciation month. Every week for 30 days, SGS surprised churchgoers with something unique to remind, instruct, and encourage them to say thank you to these dedicated servant leaders.

Applied Expertise

Among other successful ideas, we applied our interviewing, team building, writing, and graphic design skills to create a 10-foot by 30-foot, photographic bulletin board in the church vestibule. We also produced an attractive yet inexpensive black-and-white brochure that could be cut into wallet sized index cards and used for daily prayer suggestions.

Recognized Benefit

Such focused attention enabled the congregation to express sincere and specific gratitude toward their full-time pastors and ministry directors. This project strengthened an already established bond among the NCBC pastoral staff. And most importantly, those who ministered faithfully year after year experienced genuine joy, admiration, and gratitude from each of their own 250-member mini-flocks.
